Boys and girls grades 6-12 are eligible to compete in the 09 Washington Games Jr. Match Play Championship. There are no association costs and the entry fee includes all green fees.

The tournament will be played on Monday, July 6 and Tuesday, July 7 at McCormick Woods GC.

The registration deadline is Thursday, July 2 at 5:00pm.

4 rounds of Match Play GUARANTEED for all 9th-12th grade boys & girls

3 rounds of Match Play GUARANTEED for all 6th-8th grade boys & girls

Divisions:
16 players will be invited to participate in this prestigious event in each of the following “divisions”:

  • BOYS – 12TH GRADE, 11TH GRADE, 10TH GRADE, 9TH GRADE
  • GIRLS: 11TH&12TH GRADE, 9TH&10TH GRADE.

8 players will be invited to participate in this prestigious event in each of the following “divisions”

  • BOYS: 8TH GRADE, 7TH GRADE, 6TH GRADE
  • GIRLS: 6TH-8TH GRADE

Format:
The 16 OR 8 players in each gender/grade division will be seeded by “points”, then play match play matches until GOLD, SILVER AND BRONZE medal winners are determined on Tuesday, July 7th afternoon matches.

Eligibility:
as of now, the event is OPEN to any player that wishes to compete!

Registration:
Sign up by phone ONLY at 360.895.0130. $160 entry fee for 7th-12th grade boys & girls; $130 entry fee for 5th&6th grade boys &girls. Fee includes all rounds, tee prize, prize award & gold,silver, bronze medals from the WASHINGTON GAMES for 1st, 2nd & 3rd (and T3rd) place finishers. SIGN UPS BEGIN MARCH 1ST, 2009

Prizes:
Tee prizes from the WASHINGTON GAMES committee & NWJrGT will be awarded to each player at check in on Monday. Prize fund will be awarded for each match won– division winners receive a Gold medal from the SSC and WAGames, runner up receives a Silver medal, 3rd place a bronze medal.

Entry fees to all Northwest Jr Golf Tour 2-day events include green fees, and, in some cases, a nice tee prize. As always, the top finishers win merchandise award dollars. Currently, Northwest Jr Golf Tour has awarded over $120,000. To see where you rank, visit the Leading Winners page.

All 2-day Northwest Jr Golf Tour events carry ranking points for the National Junior Golf Scoreboard. If you are trying to catch the eye of any college coach, you may want to consider playing and doing well in a Northwest Jr Golf Tour event.
